The Luna Balloona Story

People often ask how I got started with balloon art and decor.  I guess you could say that bringing the fun runs in my family.  Back in the 1950's, my grandfather Cliff owned a small carnival in the midwest.  As a little girl, I loved to explore his basement, which was crammed full of posters, game prizes, elephant stepstools, and more.  He even had a sideshow curiosity-a two headed calf that was donated to the Circus World Museum.  He was also a balloon twister, making the simple shapes like the classic dog that are still iconic today.  His little boy Bill (my father) got into the act sometimes too.  When it was time for my first job, I choose to be a carnival games attendant at the local amusement park.

Fast forward to 2016.  I was a soon to be single mom of three preteens.  Two of my children attended a creative arts camp focused on balloon twisting.  When they showed me what they learned, I was hooked.  I loved the creative possibilities and enjoyed learning new designs and even making my own.  Folks really enjoyed our creations.  It soon became a family business, with my children now being the fourth generation to bring the fun.

I hope you enjoy our entertainment and decor services!

Sincerely,

Pamela Lee
